Building Permit Discount Programs
Dust off your tools and building plans, November is
“Building Permit Fee Reduction Month” in Grover Beach!
Beginning November 1, 2009, Building Permit Fees will be reduced twenty percent (20%) for the entire month.
As part of the Local Economic Stimulus Program endorsed by the Grover Beach City Council, the reduced fee program is designed to provide savings to homeowners and rental property owners, as well as help stimulate the local construction and trade industries.
Types of permits discounted include: New Residential Units, Residential Additions, Commercial Remodels, Re-Roof Permits, and Water Heater Permits. The discount will only be given to those who submit applications in the month of November 2009 and whose application is approved and permit is issued within ninety (90) days of the submittal date.
The discount applies to Building, Planning, and Public Works Plan Check Fees, as well as the Building, Plumbing, Mechanical, and Electrical Permit Fees, but does not include Administrative or Development Impact Fees.
