Pink Patch Project Raises $8,500

These are the proceeds raised during our 2nd Annual Pink Patch Project (#PinkPatchProject) fundraising campaign.

The Pink Patch Project is a collaborative cancer awareness fundraiser with a goal to raise awareness and funding for the research, treatment and care of those who are battling cancer. Equally important during this time is to educate the public about early detection and prevention of cancer. The proceeds from our fundraising were made possible from community donations, the sale of our pink shoulder patch and other novelty items, and from our 2nd Annual Pink Patch Project Golf Tournament. The Hearst Cancer Resource Center is a wellness and support services program that provides a bridge between the standard medical care and a full range of healing therapies.

In the past two years, our local San Luis Obispo County communities have helped us donate over $15,000 to the Hearst Cancer Resource Center. We are grateful to our donors and sponsors who helped make this collaborative effort of neighbors helping neighbors possible.
