Sponsorship Opportunities:

Special Event Permit Application:
The City of Grover Beach has prepared guidelines to assist in determining whether an event requires a Special Event Permit (i.e., for private parties planning a gathering or activity to be attended by 100 or more people requiring public resources beyond the normal pattern of traffic and travel or general calls for service). 28th Annual Dune Run Run & Walk
- Registration Form
Day of Race Registration Opens: 7:00 a.m. and Race Starts: 8:00 a.m.
  Fees: $26 Pre-Registration (prior to August 24, 2016; $31 (After August 24, 2016)
  Location: Ramona Garden Park, 993 Ramona Avenue

Enjoy our new and improved 5k Run, 5k Walk and 10k Run! Walk or run over City Streets and the
  scenic Grover Beach boardwalk and beach; a fun combination for all ages. Awards ceremony will
  immediately follow the end of the race. 1st and 2nd place medals will be awarded for all age and
  gender categories. Registration is online through Thursday, August 25, 2016. On-site registration
  begins at 7:00 a.m. on race day.

9/11 Memorial Event & Art Exhibit

  Date: Sunday, September 11, 2016
  Time: 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Ramona Garden Park, 993 Ramona Avenue

Started in 2002, this annual event provides local residents with an opportunity to
  remember and honor the victims and families of the 2001 terrorist attacks, victims
  of terrorist actions around the world; as well as, the men and women serving past
  and present in the armed forces.

  The Art Exhibit will be available for viewing:
  Saturday, September 10, 2016 (10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.)
  Sunday, September 11, 2016 (10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.)

  Note: If you are an artist who has created work depicting 9/11 events, or that has
  a patriotic theme, please call the Parks and Recreation Department at (805) 473-4580
  to have your work considered for the art show. We are also accepting other patriotic
  memorabilia collections for display. There is no cost to participate. Open to all ages and
  skill level.

17th Annual Basketball Clinic

  Date: Sunday, October 9, 2016
  Time: 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Mentone Basketball Court, 14th Street and Mentone Avenue

  Featuring the Cal Poly Mustangs Women's Basketball Team! This popular event, will
  offer boys in grades 7 and below, and girls in grades 8 and below, pointers and
  drills to improve their game skills. This event is limited to 100 participants!

  All sports equipment is provided. Participants should wear comfortable clothing,
  proper shoes, and bring a water bottle.

  Note: NCAA rules specify high school students are not permitted to participate.
