16th Annual Basketball Clinic - Limited to 100 Participants!
9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
   Location: Mentone Basketball Court, 14th Street and Mentone Avenue

Featuring the Cal Poly Mustangs Women's Basketball Team! This popular event, will offer boys in grades 7 and below, and girls in grades 8 and below, pointers and drills to improve their game skills.

All sports equipment is provided. Participants should wear comfortable clothing, proper shoes, and bring a water bottle.

Note: NCAA rules specify high school students are not permitted to participate.

Carved Pumpkin Contest & Halloween Activities
5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
   Location: Ramona Garden Park Center, 993 Ramona Avenue

Fun for the whole family! Bring your already decorated or carved funny, scary, spooky, or goofy pumpkin and enter it in the contest to win great prizes donated from local businesses! There is also a special category just for local businesses! Get creative!

Carnival games presented by the Arroyo Grande High School LINK Crew, free hot dogs provided and prepared by the Grover Beach Rotary! Ballooney the Clown, and much more! Pumpkin contest registration ends at 6:15 p.m.

Note: Only decorated pumpkins will be accepted for ages 6 and under!

Thurs, Dec. 3rd (Businesses) & Thurs, Dec. 17th (Residential) Final Judging 5:30-9:00 p.m.
Holiday of Lights Decorating Contest - Be Sure to Have Your Lights On!
   Preliminary Judging (Businesses): Sat, Nov. 28th to Mon, Nov. 30th (5:30 to 9:00 p.m.)
   Preliminary Judging (Residential): Sat, Dec. 12th and Sun, Dec. 13th (5:30 to 9:00 p.m.)
   Location: Various locations throughout Grover Beach

Show your holiday spirit by decorating your HOME or BUSINESS! Earn bragging rights in your neighborhood! Nominate your neighbor, yourself, or your favorite local business owner! Awards will be presented in the following categories:

           *Mayor's Award: Best overall in originality
           *City Council Award: Best use of animation and /or craftsmanship
           *Commissioner's Award: Best use of lights
           *Business Award: Best overall display
           *Best Theme Award: Best use of consistent theme
           *Simple Elegance Award: Best display demonstrating simplicity and grace

Saturday, December 5, 2015 - Volunteers Needed!
49th Annual Holiday Parade
10:00 a.m.
Parade begins at 16th Street, travels west down West Grand Avenue to 9th Street, and
                   finishes at the Ramona Garden Park Center, 993 Ramona Avenue.
   This Year's Theme: "Hawaiian Holiday"
   Parade Entry Application: Application
   (Parade applications accepted until Monday, November 30, 2015 at 5:00 p.m.)

This is the only daytime parade in South San Luis Obispo County! Bring the entire family and enjoy a good old fashioned parade. Show off the holiday spirit of your business, club, or organization and be in the parade! (It's a great way to advertise!) Parade entry fee is a new unwrapped gift for a child ages 0 to 17; larger group entries are welcome to donate more than one!

) - (Food and handcrafted artisans only!)

Come and visit over 40 artist and crafters who have created unique, handcrafted gifts for you and your loved ones this holiday season. Festivities include a visit with Santa, fun activities for kids, demonstrating artists and crafters, and live music!

Holiday Tree Lighting
5:30 - 6:30 p.m.
City Hall parking lot (pine tree), 154 S. 8th Street

To be held prior to the first City Council meeting in December! Join us for cocoa, coffee and cookies, caroling, and a visit with Santa!
