The Grover Beach Police Department provides law enforcement and related public safety services within the community.

Services include responding to emergency and non-emergency incidents related to crimes, nuisances, traffic, municipal code violations, animal complains and varous other activities. The department also maintains documentation on these activities.

The Police Department is committed to our community and we have a variety of community programs such as:

Operations & Support Services
The department operates under the direction of the chief of police and is divided between operations and support services. The operations commander is responsible for all patrol, traffic, community activities, emergency planning, and related administrative functions.

The support services commander is responsive for detectives, property, dispatch records, internal affairs, and primary department/ administrative functions.
