Parks and Recreation

The Grover Beach Parks and Recreation Department has had a busy year adding amenities to our parks. Grover Heights Park and 16th Street Park New Playground Equipment, Photo Courtesy of Jerry Rosshave both received new playground equipment, benches, picnic table, drinking fountains, and trash receptacles. Grover Heights Park also has a new basketball court, donated by Saturn of Santa Maria and San Luis Obispo. Staff will be working to improve existing picnic areas to accommodate more benches and additional group barbecues.

The Grover Beach Community Center on Trouville Avenue will be renovated due to the recent fire that left the building temporarily unusable. The City will be refurbishing the facility and anticipates its re-opening this Winter.
