What comes to your mind when you think “water conservation”? Water saving shower heads and toilets? Don’t over water so that you end up watering sidewalks and driveways? Maybe even making sure to turn off the faucet while you brush your teeth or shave?
These are all great water conservation tips – but they barely scratch the surface. Twenty-three simple, common-sense techniques follow, which could save upwards of $20 to $40 per month depending on the specifics of your current household (people, children, yard size, cars, past conservation, etc.) Savings reflect average gallons per month.
