Beautiful brick pavers now mark the crossings at two intersections along West Grand Avenue – Ninth & Grand and Tenth & Grand. Over the past year since this demonstration project was installed, unexpected settling has occurred.

Adjustments to the pavers are scheduled to begin mid-May and will continue over a 30-day period into early June.

Travel on West Grand Avenue will be affected with lane change transitions and other traffic control measures in place between Eighth Street and Eleventh Street. In most cases, four to six parking spaces will be temporarily lost at the intersection being repaired.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but as a statement to the potential of our West Grand Avenue corridor – we want smooth sailing!
