Kristin Eriksson serves as the Assistant City Manager for the City of Grover Beach, California. Eriksson manages the City’s economic development program and activities in partnership with the South County Chambers of Commerce and other business groups, coordinates the City’s efforts on high priority catalyst development opportunities, leads citywide communication and public engagement efforts with City departments and outside consultants, coordinates the City’s goal-setting and work program process, directs and manages special projects and initiatives, and provides other highly responsible and complex professional assistance to the City Manager and other officials. Eriksson has over 17 years of state and local government experience. Prior to Grover Beach, Eriksson served as an Administrative Analyst for the County of San Luis Obispo, California where she was the liaison analyst for the departments of Public Works, Information Technology, Probation and the District Attorney. She previously served as the Purchasing Manager for the City of San Luis Obispo, California and as a Research Attorney and Contracts Administrator for the Superior Court of Los Angeles, California.
Eriksson has an undergraduate degree in political science from California Lutheran University and a juris doctorate degree from the University of California, Hasting College of the Law. She is a credentialed California County Executive with the Institute of Excellence in County Government of the California State Association of Counties.
